Their self-described 'happy music about sad things' is a perfect match for their ironic comedy that spurts out during interviews and, as we've seen in their recent music videos, their creativity as a whole.
Based in Lancashire, the indie-pop stylings of Thomas Rylance, Robert Lally, Joe Singleton and Katie Lloyd have led them to stages including Kendall Calling, Hard Rock Calling, Sol Fest and Os Fest, as well as supporting the likes of The Futureheads, Jamie Cullum, The Charlatans, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott and The Enemy, whilst building up a loyal family of fans in the process.
In fact, their fans are so loyal, that they recently smashed their crowd-funding effort for their next album in 48 hours!
Their latest releases 'I Know' and 'Pillows' have also been extremely well received - clocking up thousands of YouTube views in quick speed and receiving widespread radio play (including on W!ZARD Radio Station).
The Lottery Winners are quickly establishing themselves as one of the hottest bands on the scene, and one of the hardest working, fun-loving bands around.
To find out more, James Gilmore caught up with them backstage at their headline gig at The Garage, London before they were about to rock in front of hundreds of music industry professionals.
Broadcasted worldwide, only on W!ZARD Radio Station.
