Stitches by Shawn Mendes is the YouTuber's first number 1 hit from his debut album Handwritten.

The pop track is about loving someone so much you can't live without them, despite how much they hurt you. The track has charted at Number 1 in the US and UK and in the Top 10 in Sweden, Poland, Norway, New Zealand, Netherlands and more.

We're listing our Top 4 covers of this incredible track.

Conor Maynard

The truth is, we like anything that Conor Maynard touches. Conor has put a classic twist on this modern original - but really it's the high note at approximately 1.52 which really won us over. How any human being can hit those notes, we will never know. But what we do know is that this cover is ACE.

Madilyn Paige and Maddie Wilson

Skip to 0.13 (because the first few seconds are just silence) and the real heart kicks in. Madilyn and Maddie have incredible voices and, just like Conor's cover, it puts a simplistic, classic take on Shawn Mendes' upbeat original. They have managed to put an elegance on this track which other cover artists just weren't able too...

Jon Cozart (AKA Paint)

He's one of the most unique and original YouTubers around - so there was no chance that we wouldn't include Jon's cover in the list. Using a variety of every-day items as well as unique harmoising, this is the most creative cover of Stitches we have ever found.

The Tide

The boys of The Tide are a talented bunch, and this cover recorded backstage before they went onstage with The Vamps backs up that statement. The guitar riff is slightly off-center from the original song, but ultimately it's their extremely strong vocals which are the stealer in this one!
