Travis Fimmel (TV's The Beast & Vikings) is Anduin Lothar, leading the Alliance. He is a fearless warrior loyally fighting for King Llane to stop a world-ending war against an impossible enemy... in order to keep his people safe and to protect his only son. He WILL determine the fate of Azeroth.
Alongside him, Paula Patton is Garona Halforcen, a strong-willed orc caught between the Alliance and the Horde. As a half-human and half-orc, she must fight and decide where her true loyalty lies in the new film Warcraft: The Beginning.
Warcraft: The Beginning tells the story of Azeroth, an extraordinary world where light and dark marget are the life force. Ruling over the human realm is King Llane (Dominic Cooper) and Lady Taria, both of whom reside in the peaceful city of Stormwind. The peaceful kingdom of Azeroth is looked after by a council of mages known as the Kirin Tor - elite spell-casters who maintain the balance of power from the clouds in faraway Dalaran.
All is peaceful and pleasant, until young mage Khadgar decides to rebel against the Kirin Tor in the search of a higher truth. Now, Azeroth is on the brink of war and their destiny could change forever.
On the other side of the planet, Draenor serves as the home to tusked warriors known as the orcs. They are monoliths of combat, born to fight and bred to survive. But the orc planet is dying and, if their kind is to survive, they must abandon their homes and travel to another world. If it must be conquered in order for them to survive, so be it...
