You’re exhausted, you feel disgusting, you’ve been dancing for two days straight! But you must get up, because you don’t want to miss the last day of Reading Festival. Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!
Your wake up call should definitely be Deaf Havana on the Radio One Stage. After headlining last year’s 2000 trees festival, their combination of post-hardcore and pop-punk is sure to wake you up more than a coffee or an energy drink ever will.
The next must see act, with his album ‘At.Long.Last.A$AP’ is none other than A$AP Rocky. The hype that surrounds the MC’s heavily anticipated Sunday Main Stage set is by no means undeserved. If you’re at Reading and like Hip Hop, you have no excuse for not making it.
Looking for more nostalgia? Of course you are! Guaranteed to put you right be in the naugties with “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked” along with much more recent tracks from their fourth album ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ is one of my personal favourites, Cage the Elephant.
If that isn’t enough, then head over to the Main Stage for The Vaccines, and scream as tunes such as ‘If You Wanna’ and ‘Norgaard’, as well as their new record ‘English Graffiti’ show you how great they are.
Last, and certainly not least, headlining Sunday night is Biffy Clyro. Let the bands unique sound allow you to lose yourself in the music, holding back tears when you realize that after they leave the stage… that will be the end of Reading 2016!
