Sundown Festival

Sundown is one of the newer festivals on the map, and this year it closes the festival season in a way that no other festival could!

The line-up is a mixture of dance and pop - with two dance music stages and the Main Stage hosting some of the biggest pop acts of the moment.

Occupying the Castle Stage is Defected In The House (who’s radio show you can hear on W!ZARD Radio Station on Fridays from 12-midday)! Opening is Lee Walker at 2pm.

Whilst Lee Walker is mixing it up, our favourite girls M.O. will be ripping it up on the Main Stage from 2.20pm. The girl group are very much hyped to be the ‘next big thing’ in urban-pop and, I mean, Who Do You Think Of when M.O are playing?

The Main Stage has a fierce offering across the afternoon - with Kiko Bunn leading the way at 3.30pm, followed Ms Dynamite, Becky Hill and rapper Kano who has recently come out with his new EP, ‘Made In The Manor’ to rave reviews.

In the world of dance music, it’s a hard fight. Whilst UKF occupy The Nest, house legend David Rodigan is on-stage whilst our favourite Sam Divine is on The Castle Stage. Whilst all of this happens, Dizzee Rascal will be tearing up the Main Stage. It will be difficult to decide who to watch - but for us it will have to be the man who ‘wakes up everyday in a daydream’. You know Dizzee!

And then comes the evening.

It’s a double-whammy of Jess Glynne followed by Chase & Status on the Main Stage whilst DJ S.K.T and My Nu Leng headline the dance stages. The highlight of the day will undoubtedly be Jess Glynne - watching her perform her best selling album, “I Cry When I Laugh” and (fingers crossed) some new tracks too will be a dream come true!

Then it’s off to bed - for there is so much more to come on Sunday!
