Sundown: Dizzee Rascal Review
Everything in his life is not what it seems - but his live set is really really good

There's nothing crazy about Dizzee Rascal; his ability to engage a rowdy crowd of Norwich-ers for 50 minutes whilst they stand in the pouring rain deserves the upmost respect, despite some unrecognisable songs and the difficulty to singalong to many quick verses.
The words 'Dizzee Rascal‘ bring some absolute bangers to the mind: ‘Holiday', 'Dance Wiv Me‘ and the legendary ‘Bonkers'. Had any of these tracks been forgotten then many people would have gone bonkers... sorry.
What Dizzee did play included these and a few songs that showcased his impressive rapping ability but didn't live up to the status of the previously stated tracks.
However, Dizzee’s set was not just enjoyable because of the music, but it was nice to hear him joking about the near torrential weather. Also, the hype men he had performing with him were very strong, as well as the live DJ mixing everything. In addiction, the lighting, graphics and smoke effects made this performance truly spectacular.
Highly entertaining, Dizzee Rascal’s set had plenty of hype and even greater performers, fronted by a rapper who will go down in British Rap History with some true classics.
