Every week, Myles McCaulskey picks his Top 5 favourite hip-hop tracks that he's been listening to over the past week. We reveal the list right here, every Wednesday.
1. J Hus – Common Sense
The title track from his album which drops on Friday. The live instruments and punchy lyrics from Hus work together perfectly. It’s got that Rick Ross Maybach Music feel to it.
2. Sona – Ginger
Sona is on fire this year and we’re only in May! Ginger is catchy, energetic and definitely a song that I will be vibzing too this summer!
3. Desiigner – Thank God I Got It
Desiigner doesn’t get enough credit for his music. He’s released good music since Panda and this one is an example of that. I’m looking forward to his project this summer.
4. Adian Coker – For Richer, for Poorer
If you don’t know much about Adian Coker check his music out! You’ll got on a journey…trust me! This one is no exception. Inspiring lyrics and another uplifting song. I’ve chosen a lot of them this week.
5. Logic – AfricAryan (feat. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, J. Cole)
Logic is a top rated lyricist, who always seems to slip people’s minds in the debate for one best rappers of this generation. Sit back and enjoy Logic’s complex history on the single. A great way to finish another solid album.
