British artist Jacob Banks has, despite his age, had quite a storied career in music.
The first ever artist to perform in a Live Lounge before signing to a record label, his debut EP ‘The Monologue’ (released independently) received widespread support across the UK.
And then came the industry support.
The following years saw Jacob Banks tour with Emeli Sande, feature on Wretch 32’s ‘Doing OK’ as well as Chase & Status’ ‘Alive’. And then came the major label deal.
Jacob Banks’ latest EP, ‘The Boy Who Cried Freedom’ includes hits such as ‘Chainsmoking’ (which has garnered over 1.5M streams on Spotify) and ‘Unholy War’ and has taken him around the world.
Now, the boy from Birmingham, is performing at Firefly Festival!
