Legendary Drum & Bass and Jungle producer, DJ and artist Shy FX has been a prominent figure in music since the 1990s.

Bursting onto the scene with 'Original Nuttah (feat. MC Apache)' in 1995, Shy FX was one of the pioneers of Drum & Bass, who pushed the genre into the limelight and one of the sounds of the decade.

As a DJ, he could give you a crazy dubplate, by one of your favourite artists or as an artist he could provide you with one of the tracks of the year, championed by Shy FX’s remix to Protoje’s 'Who Knows (feat. Chronixx)' was arguably one of the songs of the 2016.

With this example, and many others, it’s safe to say Shy’s unique hybrid of Drum & Bass and Caribbean island vibes, continues to connect with different generations throughout time and has subsequently become his signature sound.

2017 has been a busy year for the DJ, already dropping singles featuring Shingai, Kiko Bun & Rag’N’Bone Man and it is rumoured more is on the way!

Myles McCaulskey caught up with Shy FX to talk about his brand new single 'Chocolate' which features Roses Gabor and Dubplate Culture, and more.

Broadcasted exclusively worldwide on W!ZARD Radio Station.
