In line with W!ZARD Giving’s month of focus on mental health, and in light of the recent World Mental Health Day, there is a growing consensus that we need to broaden the debate from how to resolve mental health issues and on how to prevent them.
On Benji Hyer’s radio show, it was discussed whether our lives are becoming too stressful, and whether the pressures of school/university are all too overcoming.
Listener Riley argues that access to so much information all around us definitely doesn't help, and that with advent of technology, there is no such thing as actual escapism. Smartphones have been known to worsen mental health conditions, and perhaps it is time to view technology as more of a burden than a blessing.
Broadcasted exclusively worldwide on W!ZARD Radio Station.
