One of the artists who legendarily got their start on ReverbNation is Bastille!
The British band, led by Dan Smith, had their breakout hit in 2013 with single ‘Pompeii’ which topped the charts around the world – however, it was their previous singles, including ‘Flaws’, ‘Overjoyed’ and the track which ended up becoming the name of the debut album, ‘Bad Blood’, which got them signed to Virgin Records and set them up for global success.
As well as their singles and albums, Bastille have differentiated themselves in the “indie pop” scene by releasing a series of Mixtapes and even a Remix album – something unheard of for a band of this genre.
Their second album ‘Wild World’ was released in 2016 and charted at #1 in the UK.
