Did you know that Logic works hard every day? In his new single with super-producer Marshmello he lets you know that, along with some other insightful anecdotes as to why you shouldn’t mess with him.
Featured Song: Logic & Marshmello – Everyday
We don’t know what Marshmello’s “sound” is, but new Logic-collaboration ‘Everyday’ is definitely different from what he brought on ‘Wolves’ and Anne-Marie-collab ‘FRIENDS’.
Logic once again proves that he’s one of the fastest growing rappers in the scene right now and isn’t afraid to blend rap, trap and electronic music – three styles which all play with each other in ‘Everyday’. As if we ever doubted it, Logic is definitely doing the work to earn his status in rap.
Other Good Ones
Cheat Codes – Put Me Back Together (feat. Kiiara): We were very excited when we heard about this collaboration, and it pulls through! Kiiara’s incredible pitch and Cheat Codes’ ability to make solid pop bangers time after time… this one is added straight to our playlist!
ALMA – Good Vibe (feat. Tove Styrke): We had been waiting on that ALMA song which would win us over, and whilst there are many on her new ‘Heavy Rules Mixtape’, this one may be our favourite. It has the chant-factor, the dance-factor and, ultimately, the star factor.
Blossoms – I Can’t Stand It: This new single marks long-awaited return of Blossoms following their #1 charting self-titled debut album in 2016. ‘I Can’t Stand It’ shows that in the time away the band has developed and matured, but are still able to create indie-pop bangers. We can stand this.
Meghan Trainor – No Excuses: Give us a moment to explain… If you’re looking for a self-empowerment anthem for 2018 which EVERYONE can like, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, then Miss. Trainor has provided with new single ‘No Excuses’. You just can’t help but bop your shoulders along to the beat.
‘SG Lewis – Coming Up: Following up from ‘Aura (feat. J Warner)’ which won the title of being our favourite SG Lewis single, Coming Up is a chill reminder that SG Lewis has a track for every part of the party. Also, we don’t know who’s on the vocals but we like!
Also Good, But Maybe Not Quite God Enough For So Many Words
CHVRCHES – My Enemy (feat. Matt Berninger): The next drop in the lead-up to CHVRCHES’ third album, this is the song you need to listen to in order to calm down after dancing too much to ‘Get Out’.
MNEK – Tongue: Daring and sensual… we’re surprised this single didn’t make the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack, but now it’s out we’re going to reserve it for very specific situations.
Diplo – Worry No More (feat. Lil Yachty & Santigold): We know that Diplo is very talented, but what does this song do that no other Diplo song does? Not his next hit.
MoStack – What I Wanna: A SMASH. YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS. MOSTACK IS GOING TO BE MASSIVE IF THIS SONG IS ANYTHING TO BASE MUSIC EXPECTATIONS ON.
