Renowned journalist Jim Pickard tweeted that “future generations may look back at today's laissez-faire approach to children and smartphones the way we now look back at pregnant women and cigarettes in the 1950s”.
It got us thinking at W!ZARD Radio Station that actions which are tolerated today may be viewed unfavourably in decades down the line, in accordance with changing social attitudes.
On his Sunday radio show, Benji Hyer asked listeners which opinions accepted nowadays will be intolerable in coming decades. Michael was one of many to point to the way we use smartphones, however Benji fears more phone technology, and believes that the biggest change in attitudes will instead relate to climate change.
